In the 2010-2011 school year, the State Department of Education adopted new standards for our curriculum areas. Because the standards changed, the end of the year testing changed as well and FCAT is now referred to as FCAT 2.0. As you might think, requirements for graduation were impacted by this change. It is never too early to begin thinking about what will be asked of your child in order to graduate! The brochure is also available on our district website using www.pcsb.org under the Parents and Students tab and following the drop down menu to locate the Parent’s Bulletin Board postings.
